In the midst of transitioning to remote learning this past spring, our SJA family experienced the sudden loss of our dear Sister Monica Fumo, SCSJA and
Sister Gabriella Nguyen, SCSJA who passed away from COVID-19 complications. Although we greatly miss their physical presence and beautiful smiles, their spirit and legacy continue to inspire us every day. Their ministries — and those of all the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida — live on in the work we do to educate and empower young women.
To continue the work of the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida, we are establishing The Sisters’ Legacy Fund and invite you to be a part of this special initiative.
The Sisters’ Legacy Fund will help support the needs that are at the heart of the school. The Sisters always ensured that the school’s mission continued — whether the issues were anticipated or unexpected. Be it a crucial repair such as a broken boiler or adding classroom technology to enhance remote learning during these challenging times, your gift today will help SJA meet the challenges of tomorrow.
A gift to The Sisters’ Legacy Fund is your opportunity to make a profound difference for the mission of St. Joan Antida High School. With your gift, we can reach our goal to raise $50,000 for this Fund by Friday, January 29. While remembering our Sisters, you will be empowering the future of our students.
