As a community, we care deeply about the wellbeing of our students, parents/guardians and families. Each of you are important to us. We take the topic of suicide very seriously. Here are some warning signs for youth suicide:
- Feelings - Expressing hopelessness about the future
- Actions - Displaying overwhelming pain or distress
- Changes - Withdrawing from friends; changes in social activities; anger or hostility; sleep disturbances
- Threats - Talking about, writing about, or making plans for suicide
- Situations - Stressful situations involving loss or change; trouble at home, in school or with law
Please seek help if you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide.
