Health & Safety Measures

• Masks are required for all students and staff while indoors.
• Social distancing of at least 3 feet is required for staff and students.
• Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the school and will be encouraged to be used frequently.
• Hand washing will be strongly encouraged for all, especially around bathroom breaks and mealtime.
• Students and staff will be asked to self-monitor for COVID-like symptoms and will be required to report any symptoms to school administration as soon as possible.

• SJA will be cleaned and sanitized daily.
• Frequent touch points like door handles and desks will be sanitized throughout the day
• Spaces larger than a classroom are equipped with an ionizing HEPA filtration system that runs throughout the day.
• All water fountains have been equipped with a touch-less bottle filler as of August 2021 to reduce the amount of maskless contact with communal areas.
• SJA has established a dedicated health room for isolating students with COVID-19 symptoms.

• We encourage all students and staff that are eligible for the vaccine to do so.
• We have hosted vaccination clinics over the summer for interested families.

1. Student presents with possible COVID-19 symptoms

2. Student reports to office to complete a self-report symptom sheet

3. Student is sent to isolation room

4. Parents are contacted to pick up student.

5. Trained SJA staff member administers COVID rapid test to student.

6. Student goes home with parent.

7. Information regarding symptomatic student is relayed to SJA staff and contact tracing is done if needed.

8. Student is required to isolate until clearance criteria are met.

9. Student returns to school.

For students, please call the main office at 414-272-8423 to report a positive COVID-19 test. Teachers will reach out with an at-home learning plan. Students are responsible for completing all missed tests and quizzes. In addition students should meet with teachers when they return to cover content missed.
