Ready, Set, ROAR! Waiver and Release of Liability

  1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in the Ready, Set, Roar 5K Run/Walk involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, traffic, and road conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, related to my participation.

  2. Release of Liability: I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release and hold harmless St. Joan Antida High School, Buena Tierra Run Club, event sponsors, volunteers, and all other organizers from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising out of my participation in the Event, including claims arising from the negligence of the Event Organizers.

  3. Medical Authorization: I consent to receive medical treatment deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the Event and release the Event Organizers from any liability for such medical treatment.

  4. Fitness to Participate: I certify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this Event, and that I will abide by all Event rules and safety instructions.

  5. Use of Likeness: I grant permission to the Event Organizers to use photographs, video, or any other record of my participation for any legitimate purpose, including promotional uses, without compensation.

  6. Minors: If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration and agree to this waiver on the minor’s behalf.
