Deus Solus - God Alone

Senior Year Retreat:

As a step in their faith journey, seniors as St. Joan Antida High School participate in a two-day retreat held at Inspirio Youth Ministries lead by the Campus Ministry department at SJA. The goal of this retreat is to foster leadership and community building through understanding one’s own faith and through worship.

Freshwoman, Sophomore, and Junior Retreat:

Young women in these grades participate in a one-day retreat that centers on discovering the hand of God in their lives. Through exploration of the Word of God, faith journey experiences, life experiences, and Catholic Christian teaching, students grow as a Child of God.

Daily Prayer

Each day our students gather together in their Dens (home rooms) for a daily gathering that starts with prayer before taking a look at the day ahead.

Monthly All-School Mass

Our staff and students join together in worship at St. Rita's each month as well as for Holy days of Obligation.

Faith In Action

As part of our weekly empower hour on Wednesdays, students invest their time in giving back to the community.

Service to Others

Service to others is an integral component to the St. Joan Antida High School experience. We do this in a number of ways:

Destiny Day

Once a quarter, students participate in an enriching activity outside of our school that includes an act of service in the community, spending time helping an organization that positively impacts Milwaukee.

Service Hours

All students are expected to complete service hours providing their time assisting the school and the community in improvement projects. In the first half of the 2021 school year, our students have completed nearly 1,000 service hours.
