Interactive Workshop Series

SJA In the Classroom – Have us come to your school!

St. Joan Antida High School now offers interactive workshops for students on subjects relevant to today’s young learner. Let SJA help continue to prepare your young students to transition into middle or high school through our fun, hands-on learning sessions offered in our 2020-2021 interactive workshop series content.

We will explore the current habits students may have and make simple recommendations to make those habits healthy ones. Students will be given tips and tricks that can make heading to high school not so much of a headache!

Middle School Vs. High School

Extend the conversation about how the expectations of a middle school student will differ from those of a high school student. This workshop provides a breakdown of what class work, time management, and social skills should look like for a student to transition successfully.

The Purpose of Professionalism

This workshop discusses how a good attitude, consistent academic effort, and quality behavior positively affects access to opportunities. This workshop connects students with resources to begin building their network by engaging in mock interviewing, simple etiquette, and defining how they want to be perceived professionally.

St. Joan Antida High School

As the most diverse all-girl school in the City of Milwaukee, St. Joan Antida High School prepares and empowers young women to lead and serve in a global society by offering a values-based, personalized approach to education. Let us share with your classroom all things SJA in this presentation as we give a snapshot of what life looks like as a Jaguar!

Your Brand: Would You Buy It?

Students will be required to think about what image or “brand” they portray about themselves. Participants examine key components of their own personal brand including how they present themselves, what they put on social media sites, their friends, and their reputation.

Goal Setting

Did you know that when you write down your goals, you are three times more likely to achieve them? This workshop guides students in the process of building a “Personal Achievement” list which encompasses dreams that are categorized and then turned into attainable goals.
