Pre-High School Program

St. Joan Antida High School now offers 6th and 7th grade girls the opportunity to participate in our SJA Junior Academy a pre-high school program.

This years round wrap-around program, allows for younger students to connect with current SJA students and faculty through a scheduled series of learning sessions that begin in July of 2020.

The program will begin with a mandatory 2-week session running from Monday, July 13 to Friday, July 24.

Yellow Bus Transportation is shared with our SJA Summer Academy participants.

Program Highlights

 

2-Week Interactive Summer Program Focused on STEM

Gain skills and experience working with subjects such as urban agriculture, coding and design, electrical engineering and e-commerce.

Monthly Tutoring During Select SJA Saturday School Sessions

Individual instruction time with current SJA staff in Math and English/Language Arts (ELA)

Community Service Day

Participate in the MLK Service Day with other Members of the SJA Community

Parent Workshops

Geared towards helping enhance academics and the transition to the rigor of high school

Direct Admission to St. Joan Antida High School

Student who successfully complete SJA Junior Academy can bypass the formal admissions process!

Students who apply for SJA Junior Academy the night of Open House will receive a SJA t-shirt and priority consideration for the 2020 Summer Session.
