Lidia Sobierajski

Director of Marketing and Communications

Lidia Sobierajski comes to St. Joan Antida High School with more than 12 years of experience in non-profit event management, fund development and marketing. Most recently, Sobierajski served as a Development Manager for the American Diabetes Association in Wisconsin where she managed the Milwaukee Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes. She oversaw all marketing and communications, logistics, sponsorship, as well as participant and volunteer recruitment. Prior to her role at the Association, Sobierajski was the Festival Director for Milwaukee's Polish Fest, where she managed all of the day-to-day operations, focusing on marketing, public relations and sponsorship. Before her role as the Polish Fest Director, Sobierajski spent a summer working for Summerfest as their Volunteer Manager.

Along with her sister, Monika, Sobierajski co-founded and continues to co-organize the Annual Chopin Youth Piano Competition which celebrated its 20th Anniversary at Polish Fest 2018. Sobierajski received a B.A. in Piano Performance/Pedagogy and Mathematics from Alverno College, where she graduated with Honors and served as a Wingspread Fellow.
"As the product of an all-girl Catholic high school, the mission of SJA is very near and dear to my heart," said Sobierajski. "I am very excited to work with the Development and Admissions Departments in promoting SJA to help increase attendance and ensure continued growth!"

Favorite high school memory: "Having the lead in our spring production of the play Lunacy, portraying the first woman in space."
