St. Joan Antida (SJA) High School, Milwaukee's only all-girl International Baccalaureate World School (IB), has named Marikris Coryell as President. Coryell was selected by the school's Presidential Search Committee, and approved by the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida. Coryell was chosen from a pool of five finalists resulting from a three-month search process following Paul Gessner's departure as Head of School for a position out of state. She brings more than 30 years of experience in business, operations and entrepreneurism, along with extensive non-profit and education service, to the position. Coryell will officially assume her duties on Sept. 4.

"Marikris Coryell's extensive experience and entrepreneurial spirit, along with a proven passion for values-based education, will help ensure our students are prepared to lead and serve," said Sister Theresa Rozga, Provincial for the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida. "Her ability to influence organizational growth and personal development reflects the spirit of our foundress who inspired young women to go out and change the world."
