The Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida and the St. Joan Antida High School Board of Directors announced today the selection of Cecelia Gore as the recipient of the 2019 Trailblazer in Women's Leadership Award. The award will be presented to Ms. Gore at St. Joan Antida High School's 26th Annual Auction, held on Saturday, April 27, 2019.

The Trailblazer in Women's Leadership Award acknowledges important women in the Milwaukee community who are trailblazers in their career and whose life and actions reflect the mission of St. Joan Antida High School. More than 64 years ago, the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida were trailblazers in creating a place where they sought to educate and empower young women from all backgrounds. Today, St. Joan Antida High School is Milwaukee's premier all-girl urban high school located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Above all else, recipients of this award serve as role models for the young women of St. Joan Antida High School.
