Franciscan Pilgrimage to Assisi and Rome
Every other year, St. Joan Antida High School provides an opportunity for young women to make a 10-day pilgrimage to Assisi and Rome Italy in order to deepen their personal relationship with God through learning about the lives of St. Francis and St. Clare. Student’s lives are enriched and transformed as they retrace the steps of St. Francis and St. Claire in Assisi. They participate in rituals, prayer, Eucharistic celebrations, historical visits and learning opportunities in historic and religious sites. By journeying through the life stories of these two saints, students are helped to develop a closer relationship with God.
