What You Need to Know About Attending SJA... 

ATTENDANCE - A student's presence in class is critical and essential.  An attendance rate of 90% or more is expected by all students, or grades may be affected

BENEFITS OF A CATHOLIC SCHOOL - A Catholic school provides a values based education in an atmosphere of respect and discipline.

BOOK BAGS - Book bags and back packs may be carried to class but must be of a size which will fit under a student's desk.

BREAKFAST PROGRAM - SJA offers a breakfast program between 7:00 and 7:45 a.m. in the cafeteria each school day.

CELL PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES - Cell phones and other electronic devices may not be visible, audible or used from the time a student enters the building in the morning through dismissal time.

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES - A variety of clubs, ministry and service projects, and cultural and social activities are offered. 

DRESS CODE - All students are required to be in uniform everyday. More information to follow. 

I.D. CARD - Each student must have an SJA ID card.  Replacement cards cost $10.00.

LUNCH PROGRAM - A nutritious lunch program is available.  No fast foods or catered food should be brought into the school for lunch either by students or their parents.  

SCHOLARSHIPS -Those who are eligible may receive tuition assistance to attend SJA. 

SJA SPORTS - SJA offers the following competitive sports: volleyball, basketball, cross country, and soccer.  Contact Ms. Monk (414) 272-8423 ext. 117 for more information.  

STUDENTS AT SJA -  The student body consists of a diverse group of girls - Hispanic, African American, Caucasian, Middle Eastern, Asian/Pacific, Multiracial and Native American.

TARDINESS - School begins with a regular class at 7:50 a.m.  Students need to be at their classroom desk with all materials when the bell rings.  Anyone who arrives to class after 7:50 a.m. must have a Tardy Pass to be admitted.

TUITION -  Tuition for the 2008-2009 school year is $5,150.
