Sr. Monica Fumo Society Annual Recognition Event  and President's Forecast

On September 19, 2007, more than 50 donors and special friends gathered to celebrate both the past and the future.  The Sr. Monica Fumo Society honors donors who contribute $1,000 or more each year to SJA.  As the first President of SJA, Sr. Monica is well remembered for many accomplishments, including her present fight to bring the CHOICE program to Milwaukee and SJA.  Her feisty personality and witty sense of humor were well remembered and still observed.  Sr. Monica shared updates on what she is currently doing with the Sisters of Charity.

Cynthia Marino, SJA President, shared new directions for the 2007-08 school year in the President's Forecast.  The theme for the year is "The Future Starts Today".  Marino emphasized the need to look at a changing world with changing demands as we prepare the next generation of women who will lead and serve in our city and beyond.
