ATHLETICS
Saint Joan Antida offers young women the opportunity to develop their God-given talents through participating in athletics. Students learn valuable lessons about teamwork, sportsmanship, working hard, and time management through athletics.
Saint Joan Antida is a member of the Midwest Classic Conference which provides a large group of schools to compete against. Saint Joan Antida rarely makes cuts on its athletic teams, which offers students that have little to no experience in playing sports an opportunity to participate. Here is some important information regarding athletics:
- All of these sports practice after every school day till at least 5 or 6pm. Often times our varsity teams will practice until 8pm.
- Buses are provided for all students to any away games or competitions, but students are expected to find their own transportation to and from practices.
- To off set the expense of offering athletics there is a $26 athletic fee that every student must pay for every sport that they participate in.
Young women at Saint Joan Antida High School have the opportunity to participate in four different sports: basketball, cross country, soccer and volleyball.
