Franciscan Pilgrimage for High School Students

Thank you to all who came out and supported this fundraiser! The Franciscan Pilgrimage Program offers an opportunity for young people of high school age to make a pilgrimage to Assisi and Rome, Italy. The program is designed to be a spiritual pilgrimage. The Franciscan Pilgrimage Program brings teens to Assisi, Italy to learn about values and peace-making through St. Francis and St. Claire, two saints who went through much of what teens experience today. It serves as a culmination of academic work that students have begun as part of their course curriculum.  A group of 20 SJA students will be traveling from December 27, 2009 through January 6, 2010.

To help off set the cost of this trip, students of SJA will be participating in various fundraising activities.  On Saturday, August 22, 2009, students held a car wash which raised over $800 for the trip!  To learn how you can help these students, please email  Sr. Jennifer Daul or you may call her at (414) 272-8423.
